A MANHUNT is underway for a driver who stabbed another motorist to death after their cars collided.

Two cars crashed on an A-road in West Sussex last night and a man got out of one of vehicles involved with a weapon.
He knifed the 79-year-old driver an undisclosed number of times and at least one turned out to be a fatal blow.

The armed attacker then drove off following the deadly confrontation.
It is not known if the victim was still sat in the driver's seat or had got out of his car when he was stabbed but he was discovered bleeding by a passer-by.
The Sussex air ambulance landed and paramedics carried out first aid on the man but he died at the roadside.
It is not known if either the suspect or victim had other occupants in the cars.

The suspect is described as a white man aged between 30 and 40 who is 6ft tall and skinny with shoulder length brown wavy hair and a thin face.
His car is described as a pale coloured old style vehicle.

"We need to hear from witnesses who saw the collision, the suspect or the car involved, particularly if anyone filmed the incident or saw anyone filming it.
"Specially trained officers are supporting the victims family at this extremely difficult time."
The A24 is still closed both ways from its junctions at Offington Corner (A27) to the Findon roundabout (Long Furlong A280).
A group of community responders in Sussex earlier tweeted: "Shocking news of the murder in Findon last night.... Stabbing people over a collision, is it really worth it??"
