The 5th edition of the C.O.D United Bolton Soccer Camp is set to hold
once again in Lagos. Kicking off on July 19th, the 6 day non-
residential camp which will be facilitated by specialist youth coaches
from former premiership campaigners Bolton Wanders Football Club of
England and C.O.D United will close on July 25th.
The training sessions will cover latest drills, improvement of ball
control, balance and coordination, technique and skills improvement
and all round improvement in the game of youngsters to prepare them
for a possible career in football. While the camp is not necessarily a
scouting platform for Bolton FC, 14 outstandingplayers have been
selected and taken to England for further training with Bolton
Wanderers in previous editions. Other outstanding players will receive
medals and certificate and an opportunity to join C.O.D United’s
academy. The Summer Camp will hold at the lush green CityTurf pitch
of C.O.D United on C.O.D Road, off LigaliAyorinde Street, Victoria
Island.
Registration has already commenced and costs only 55,000 per child.
