TWO people have been rushed to hospital, four more people are thought to be trapped and there are "multiple casualties" after massive explosions at a Cheshire wood works plant.
Four people are still believed to be trapped inside the factory in Bosley,
according to police.
Cheshire Police have declared it a "major incident" and local people are being warned to close their windows and doors because of smoke.
The force confirmed there have now been three explosions at the plant
near Macclesfield.
The first happened just after 9am, with two further blasts throughout
the morning.
The Fire and Rescue service said a four-storey building collapsed and warned more blasts could still hit.
A spokesman said: "There is a fully developed fire in several areas.
"Firefighters are facing a dangerous situation as they cannot rule out further explosions. People are advised to avoid the area."
All emergency services are on hand at the site at Wood Flour Mills in Turnstall Road.
Three people have been taken to hospital and there are understood to be "multiple casualities".

One person was flown to Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester suffering from blast and burn injuries.
Another was taken by ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Around 50 firefighters and 15 fire engines are battling against roaring flames at the scene.
Air Ambulances have also been spotted at the scene.
Smoke can be seen from miles away billowing from the Cheshire site.
Some have posted photos on Twitter of the aftermath of the blast.
